Aphrodite Shelves
Produced in very small quantities each year, each shelf is adorned with Venus clam shells, named after the Greek Goddess of love, Aphrodite. The clam shells, polished and almost porcelain-like in appearance, are placed and woven into each other in a deliberate gesture to emulate the moving sea and its tides.
Each shelf piece is unique, no two are the same.

Non-mechanised hand techniques highlight the hands behind the very intricate design work.
The shellwork is designed to suit the contours and character of the original piece.
